We are happy to invite you for our Annual Meeting to Hamburg! All Taxon-OMICS members (PIs, PostDocs, PhDs) are kindly invited to share the latest news about their projects. We are looking forward to at least one poster of every project. Note that a reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs is only possible for 2nd phase participants.

THURSDAY 28.9.2023

4 pm Welcome and registration at the Institute for Plant Science and Microbiology in Hamburg

5 pm Guided tour through the Botanical Garden

6:30/7 pm Icebreaker and a BBQ in the greenhouse 1 of the Botanical Garden

FRIDAY 29.9.2023

8:30/9 am SPP Annual Plenary Meeting, IPM, Universität Hamburg

10:30 am Coffee break at the Loki Schmidt Haus

11 am Poster sessions (at least one poster per project)

12:30 pm Lunch break (Mensa Botanischer Garten)

1:30 pm 4 Keynote speakers tba (25 min talk + 5 min discussion)

3:30 pm Coffee break at the Loki Schmidt Haus

3:45 pm Panel discussion with the four Keynote speakers

5 pm Walk to Teufelsbrück for sightseeing by boat

SATURDAY 30.9.2023

9 am World Café with four different topics (tba), Loki Schmidt house

10:45/11 am Coffee break at the Loki Schmidt house

11:30 am Closure and departure

Accommodations

Book your hotel before September 1st using the keyword Uni Hamburg. Contact Mr. Sczygiel from ibis budget Hamburg Altona at H2711@accor.com.

Please pair-up before booking a double room and specify that you require twin beds and to whom the invoice should be addressed (include home address). Save all receipts for the reimbursement.

GETTING THERE

The registration will be located in the Institute for Plant Science and Microbiology (IPM) at the

University of Hamburg (Ohnhorststr. 18, 22609 Hamburg), which can easily be reached by public

transport using the S1 or S11 in the direction of Wedel or Blankenese. Exit the train at the train

station Klein Flottbek (Botanischer Garten).
