22 Jan 2025 - NEW Zoom Seminar Series on Reticulate Evolution

THE New Zoom Series starts on 22.01.2025

We are pleased to announce the newly created Zoom seminar series on Reticulate Evolution which has been one of the outcomes of the round-table in Regensburg. With this series, we aim to broaden our knowledge base by including more perspectives from international scientists and from different fields of research that address questions related to reticulate evolution.

The meeting will take place bimonthly on Wednesdays between 5-7 pm, CET via Zoom. We are planning to invite two speakers per session with a presentation of 30 min each followed by a Q&A.

Our first session will be hosted by Nicolai Nürk (University of Bayreuth) on the 22.01.2025 between 5 - 7 pm, CET.

We are very pleased to announce Loren Rieseberg (University of British Columbia) and Daniel Huson (University of Tübingen) as speakers of this first session.

Loren Rieseberg: Speciation with gene flow in the annual sunflowers

Daniel Huson: Algorithms and software for representing reticulate evolution

All interested Taxon-OMICS and Reticulate Evolution affiliated scientists are welcome to attend.
